Land access

Roads are a vital part of the infrastructure of the state, providing access to public lands for towns, mines, ranches, natural resources, grazing allotments, water systems, lands held in trust for the benefit of Utah’s school children, family camping and picnic areas, and unbelievable vistas. Some roads provide access for school buses, emergency vehicles, and mail delivery. Land access is critical to the health, safety, and economic viability of the state.
